The History of Community Fellowship Church

I will pick up from 2005.

My name is Jim Mazzulla, and my precious wife is  Joyce.

I am the pastor of Community Fellowship Church.

A little history about me, I grew up in Connecticut, never liked the cold weather. In 1993 I moved to Georgia (near Atlanta) and loved it for the most part (except traffic).  Then in late 2004 to early 2005 I felt the LORD calling me to pastoral ministry (I have had a call on my life to ministry since 1975/1976).  In 2004/2005 I originally wanted to go overseas, or if in this country, let it be in a warm climate.   But by March 2005, I cried out to God, "send me anywhere, I'll even go to Siberia, if that is you will.

Well He didn't want me to go to Siberia, BUT He did want me to go to a colder climate (compared to Georgia) so when I found out that there was a small church in Kane, PA looking for a pastor.

My first question was, "where is Kane, PA?"  And the name of the Church was "Church At The Stable". What an interesting name for a church.  I was to find out that the church met in a building that many years ago was a dairy farm.

We came up in April 2005 to check out the church and area.  My wife and I both felt this was where the Lord was leading.  So, we visited one more time in May, and then on June 21st, 2005, I officially moved to Kane and took the pastor of the Church At The Stable (now Community Fellowship).

In this past year, we have settled into Kane, we love our church, and love our town and care about all in our town.  We have recently, renamed our church "Community Fellowship" (which is actually the original name of the church).  We are excited to be here, and believe Jesus loves Kane and has sent us here to make a positive difference in Kane and the surrounding area.

After much prayer and seeking God we felt it was time to move our church right uptown on Fraley.  So in February 2007 we made that move to 68 Fraley St. (Formerly THE MEDICINE SHOPPE).

Upon making that move we started Saturday Evening Comtemporary Services at 6:00 pm   This has been blessed of the LORD and is actually drawing more people than our Sunday Service.  Normally the teaching on Saturday is more practical and more of a casual service.

Our Sunday morning service is a little bit more traditional and is normally taught verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible.

We believe God sent us here for you!!!
